Bedroom furniture in care homes

Care homes need furniture that is homely for residents and practical for staff. We do not sell profiling, nursing or hospital beds or pressure-care mattresses, so our role is the non-clinical furniture around them.

Wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside tables, including the SOLACE+CO Velmor ribbed range, the Flair Noah range and Flair Toivo and Clarisse pieces.

What to check before you order

  • Resident bedrooms and lounges often need contract-rated upholstery: check your fire risk assessment first.
  • Choose storage and seating that is stable and easy to clean around.
  • Buy wardrobes, chests and bedsides from one range for a consistent look.
  • Check heights and depths against windows, radiators and sockets.
  • Ask about wall fixing for tall pieces.

Fire safety and specifications

Crib 5 and Source 5 fire-retardant options are available for contract use (BS 7177). Fire-retardant options are available on request as a quote option, and certificates are supplied with trade orders. Tell us your premises type and specification when you ask for a quote.

Resident bedrooms and lounges in care settings usually need contract-rated upholstery and mattresses, so please check your fire risk assessment before ordering.

How a contract order works

  1. Send your brief. Use the form below to share your room schedule, quantities and site postcode, or attach a spec.
  2. Shortlist and stock check. Your account manager suggests products that fit your sizes and budget and checks live stock and lead times.
  3. Written quote. You receive trade prices ex VAT, quantities per room type and proposed delivery dates.
  4. Delivery or collection. We plan delivery to site across mainland UK, or you can collect free from our Liversedge warehouse.

Do you sell care beds or pressure-care mattresses?

No. We do not sell profiling, nursing or hospital beds, or pressure-care mattresses. We can help with wardrobes, chests, bedside tables, lounge seating, dining and garden furniture.

Can I buy matching bedroom ranges?

Yes. Ranges such as the Flair Noah include a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table, so each room can be furnished from one range.

Can I see bedroom furniture before I order?

Yes. Ask your account manager to arrange a visit to our West Yorkshire showroom, where you can see a selection of ranges in person. Every product page also lists dimensions, materials and what is included.
